From the P.E.T.-Bottle to the inner lining

Every minute a truckload of plastic is disposed of in the sea – that's why Jana uses recycled P.E.T.-bottles for the lining in many styles!

Step by step

  • Collected P.E.T.-bottles are sorted, separated from the lids and labels and cleaned.
  • The cleaned bottles are processed into granules, which are melted down and pressed into textile fibres.
  • The lining material of our Jana shoes consists of 50% recycled P.E.T.-bottles.
  • In addition, inner soles can also be made from recycled P.E.T.-material.
